Introducing OFI

Dear Intercessor,
Thank you for your most basic and powerful part in this ministry as one of our Intercessors!
I am sending (below) the Introduction to Outreach Fellowship International which I am planning to have made into a brochure (pamphlet) that will briefly explain the nature of this ministry. I am sending it to you for three reasons.
First, that you will read it and give me any input you may have.
Second, that you pray over it and ask God to raise up more fellow workers for this ministry.
Third, pray that we would be able to get this into pamphlet form in order to give it out wherever we go in our speaking engagements and gatherings where I be explaining what we do in OFI.
Thank you for your help in this project! Looking forward to hearing from you.  Robert

                       INTRODUCING OUTREACH FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL

Over the years, the Lord has blessed OFI with fellow workers who have a similar vision to multiply simple churches that meet in homes. Out of these house churches we start outreach ministries such as Healing Prayer Clinics, Ministry Training Schools, All about Jesus Retreats, as well as seminars, conferences and retreats for our fellow workers.
We are asking the Lord for fellow workers to help start this ministry in every state in the
USA. As we do this faithfully in the USA, God will lead us to fellow workers in other countries who will do in their country what we are doing in the United States.
In Colossians 4:7-17 NIV, Paul lists the names of ten of his fellow workers who traveled with him in his missionary work or assisted him in other ways to get the gospel into the regions beyond. It was a fellowship of fellow workers moving together as equals in the service of the Lord, recognizing and respecting each other’s gifts and callings.
Acts 6:4 is our model for developing this ministry . . . "We will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the word." The outcome of making prayer and the word the basic strategy of the work in the early church was that "the word of God spread and the number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly." We believe that as we give ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the word we will see the same results.
                                                 MISSION STATEMENT
            We affirm
that our primary vision is to help and encourage the people of God to multiply house churches, house church networks, as well as outreach ministries.
We affirm the church in all of its historic expressions, but we believe that a redefinition of church is necessary for our day.

            We affirm
participatory gatherings where veryone has a contribution to make as the Body of Christ ministers to itself in love.
We affirm the calling to make disciples. A church is a group of disciples using their gifts to minister to one another and to reach out and give the gospel to others.
We affirm that there is no “clergy” for there is no “laity.” All believers are “a kingdom of priests” and are to be equipped to do the work of the ministry. (Eph 4:11-13)
We affirm that in extending God's Kingdom, multiplication trumps addition.

 FINANCIAL PROVISION

No one receives a salary in this ministry. We are committed to a walk of faith in the matter of financial provision. We are trusting God to meet all our needs in answer to prayer, faith, and patience. He who calls us to do this work will faithfully meet all our needs, the needs of our families, and the needs of the ministry itself. God's work, done in God's way, will not lack God's supply; what God orders, he pays for; and where God guides He provides. Paul worked with his hands when necessary to provide for his needs and those with him and we are ready to do the same as the need may require.

HOUSE CHURCH NETWORKS

Where two or three believers come together with Christ in the midst, there is church. Church is simply a gathering of Jesus' disciples. In the Book of Acts we read that they met in homes, ate meals together, took communion, studied the apostles' doctrine, worshipped and prayed together and ministered to one another.
There is a massive return worldwide to the simplicity of the primitive church. This simple approach is being implemented in countries all over the world and is growing rapidly! The vision is simple churches that multiply easily and, as the Lord leads, are formed into house church networks that fully identify with the citywide Body of Christ.

                                    THE
MINISTRY TRAINING SCHOOL

The Ministry Training School
, (MTS), is based on Eph. 4:11-13. "It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers to prepare God's people for works of service . . ." The MTS is a Bible college whose goal is to train and ordain men and women into the gospel ministry.
The MTS meets once a week for about three hours for a time of praise and worship, discussion Bible Study, reviewing assignments and reports, intercessory prayer, personal ministry to one another, ending with a time for refreshments and fellowship.

FELLOW WORKERS RETREATS AND CONFERENCES

From time to time we have retreats and conferences for our fellow workers. You are a fellow worker if you pray for us, work with us, or help us financially! If you do any one of these things, you are a fellow worker in this ministry.
In these retreats and conferences there will be times of worship, praise, teachings, testimonies, sharing, prayer, fellowship and personal ministry.

                                    THE HEALING PRAYER CLINIC

The Healing Prayer Clinic is ongoing instruction and training in the ministry of divine healing. Jesus said to his disciples as he sent them out to preach, “In whatever city you enter, heal the sick that are therein.” (Luke 10: 8-9) The purpose of the clinic is to bring healing the sick and to train and equip the saints to heal the sick in Jesus’ name.
Until recently, the most rapid growth of Christianity took place in the first three centuries of church history. The prayer of the early church was, “Father, grant to your servants that with all boldness we may speak your word, by extending your hand to heal and that signs and wonders be done in the name of Jesus!” (Acts 4:29-30) God answered that prayer and the good news went forward like a flood in every direction for the next 300 years. But slowly that supernatural fire began to die down and almost went out! However, in our day there is a powerful resurgence of the miracle healing ministry all around the world, in large crusades, in small groups, and one on one.

HELPERS INTERNATIONAL

There are about 200 countries in the world today and we are asking God to give us 200 fellow workers in the
USA who are willing to spend some time helping a fellow worker in a foreign country. Here are some suggestions:
            1. Pray for them on a regular basis.
            2. Get others to pray with us for them in times of emergency.
            3. Write to them by email and by regular mail.
            4. Help them financially as the Lord leads.
            5. Use Skype or another computer based phone service to call them.
            6. Send them helpful material as an email or an attachment to email.
            7. Share books, tapes, CDs, DVDs using regular mail.
            8. Share a prophetic word from the Lord.
            9. Plan a team outreach to their country.
            10. The Lord will show you other ways to help.

    SERVANT LEADERSHIP

Jesus began his public ministry by recruiting twelve men "that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach." Jesus is our model in this matter of finding and training workers to go forth and reap the harvest.
Paul watched over the churches he started. He prayed for them, wrote to them, visited them, sent others to visit them, counseled them, rebuked them, praised them, taught them and poured out his life for them. Paul is a good model of a servant leader.
Whether God's call on your life brings you to a place that is hidden away from the praise or censor of men or out into the blazing light of notoriety, it is enough to know that you are doing the will of him who sent you.

FOUR DYING MEN SAVE A DYING CITY
I will never forget the words of the four lepers outside the gates of the besieged city of Samaria (II Kings 7:3, KJV). I heard them for the first time when I was seventeen years old and I have never forgotten them. They said, "Why sit we here until we die?"
They reasoned together as they sat there in their hunger, their sickness, their weariness and weakness. "If we go into the city, the famine is there and we will die. If we sit here we will die either of starvation or of this awful disease. Let's go out to the camp of the enemy. They may give us something to eat, or they may kill us, but we're going to die anyway. What have we got to lose?"
So, in the twilight of the day, four dying men stood up and stepped out and began to walk toward the camp of the Syrians, laying their lives on the line. Unknown to them, God caused the sound of a mighty army to go before them, and when they arrived at the camp, no one was there. The Syrians had heard the thundering noise of an army coming toward them and fled, leaving enough food to save the whole city of
Samaria!
May God help us to be willing, in all our weakness, to stand up and step out when the Spirit calls; to do what the woman did when she poured the ointment on Jesus' feet, when those who were looking on began to complain of the waste, Jesus said, "Leave her alone! She has done what she could." That is all God is asking of us. God loves to use weak things, broken things, base things and things which are despised to work a mighty deliverance for those who are hungry for the Bread of Life.
As we move out in all our weakness, we can be assured that God will go before us confirming the word with signs following. And in the process, He will supply our needs and make us a blessing to a hungry world!

Where It All Begins
Out of the womb of prayer, praise and worship all the mighty movements of God in the earth are conceived and brought to birth for the glory of God and the good of mankind.

A Declaration of Unity
I belong to everything that belongs to Jesus and everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to me! It's not us and them. It's just us! There's only one Body of Christ, and the problems of the church, the whole church, are our problems, for we are the church and we can do more united than we can do divided! So let's unify, simplify, and multiply!

Divine Appointment Prayer
Father, give me a divine appointment today with someone who is hungry for God, or sick, or in need, and give me grace to minister the love of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Winning the War on Terror by Prayer
Father, give every terrorist an encounter with Jesus such as Paul had on the road to Damascus.

Living to Give
Father, make me a generous giver today! Show me where to give and what to give, and let all my giving bring glory to the name of Jesus.

Grace, YES!  Law, NO!
Law demands, demands, demands
But gives me neither feet nor hands
Grace and Truth are better things
They bid me fly and give me wings
