"Freely you have received.  Freely give."  The kingdom of God is received without obligation and given without expectation.

This short photographic essay on eastern Tajikistan will give you a glimpse of what life is like there http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11096230

Just met a new friend near Rotterdam who has started three simple communities of disciples among Bulgarians in the area.

One of the team in Kyrgyzstan reports 17 new houses of peace and two of them amongst  an eighty family Chechen community.  They were placed their by Stalin, have maintained their ethnic identity and are very discriminated against by the Kyrgyze.  That a Kyrgyze lady would reach out to them warmed hearts.

Interesting article! Following Jesus is becoming very public in China...

China's Communist authorities seem happy to tolerate Christian values in the workplace, the BBC's Christopher Landau reports from the city of Wenzhou.

"Yesterday we gave $350 to a young couple going through unemployment, sent $70 with a guy to buy rice for Bhutanese refugees in a nearby city, heard a report from Saturday on delivery of furniture/clothes/blankets/food to Congolese refugees in our city, gave a box of food to a person needing a boost, and sent $30 to a mission organization.  ..then we continued with our Sunday church gathering...yeah, it took kind of a big group at church to get that much done during our one hour worship gathering, 16."  From Green Church.

Quotations "I'd rather have a church of 12 people who can replicate the DNA of the Kingdom of God than a church of thousands that will infect people with something less.Take time to build the real thing, not watered-down, lukewarm look-a-likes. If we're going to be the church at all let's be the real thing. Build the church God's way! As an organic movement of unpaid servants.Michael Slaughter, unLearning Church

Question to three sharp young guys planting traditional, congregational churches by trying to attract folks looking for a "good" church, "Would you do this if you did not want to gather a group to pay your salary?" The answer from all three? "No." Two with tears in their eyes.

Every blessing
