"But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD." (Num. 14:21)
God
makes a very bold declaration and promise. He swears upon Himself: "as I
live." This is a powerful oath. Since we know that God is true, and
cannot lie, shouldn't we pay attention to this declaration? Because what
God swears will surely, certainly come to pass.

completely and totally and thoroughly will the earth be filled with the
knowledge of the glory of God.

We are not told how this will be accomplished, or when. But we know
what, and we know Who, and we know why: because God has declared it. It
shall be so, therefore it will be so...
