Church Planting and the Refugee Crisis

Brent, who is our LK10 Regional Coordinator in Indiana, sent me the important article below. Seems to me there are several unique LK10 values that might shape our response...
1. Each of us should ask the Lord if this is an assignment he has for us.
2. If the answer is "yes", the first step would be praying the 10:2b Prayer focusing on the refugee populations.
3. You will notice that the article mentions "discovering persons of peace". We would certainly agree with that. But, we would also be praying for apostolic church planters from among these groups of people.
4. We have a good bit of evidence that our two "rhythms of attention" are transcultural and would be effective for planting churches in any culture and language context.
If you feel the Lord's leading to begin praying 10:2b regarding the Refugee Crisis, let us know what you learn and what you see the Lord of harvest do and we'll share it with the LK10 Community.
