10:2b answers in the first century (And, why this matters to us!)

I'm quite sure that Jesus Himself prayed the prayer He commanded His disciples in Lk 10:2.  And, I'm sure they obeyed His command and prayed that prayer.  And, that they taught their disciples to do the same.  And, so on.

But what did their 10:2b answers look like?  And, why is that vitally important for us?  (Actually, it may hold the key to revival.)
