Because we are working with people, there will be many setbacks and discouragements and disappointments. Even Jesus experienced this. "From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him." Jn. 6:66
In addition, the Enemy especially targets leaders. (Example from war… snipers are taught to look for officer insignia to determine their primary targets.) If the Enemy can take out the leader, the group/church often struggles or dies. The flock (group) is scattered.
In light of these difficulties, there is one habit above all others that an effective small group (house church, etc.) leader must cultivate. This is the foundation for everything else. The cultivation of this habit is our focus for the first month (June) of Leader 101. Take a look...
