Why we oppose Truth

Sometimes we oppose something emotionally and we don't even know
why.

Usually it's because we're trying to defend something
we've come to believe as Truth.

But a lover of Truth is open to the possibility of alternative
interpretations of Scripture, rightly balancing what has been
previously learned with what has yet to be discovered.

I think that's a skill that can be developed.
