Can You Pray for Me About This?

Hi Friends,
I don’t ever remember asking for prayer on this blog before. If I have, it’s been exotically rare.
Not because I don’t believe in prayer. Quite the opposite.
I believe corporate prayer is like launching a nuclear bomb . . . it’s power is enormous.
So I don’t take it lightly. Nor do I use such requests on that which is cheap or insignificant. (I won’t be asking you to pray for Aunt Mildred’s hang nail!)
Anyways, there are three things I would love you to touch the throne on my behalf, if you feel so inclined:
1. I’m working on writing a new blog post that I consider to be profound in its significance.
One of the results of the two surveys I did in June was a repeated struggle that was articulated by scores of you.
The struggle goes something like this:

How do we Christians respond to the world’s narrative which pressures us constantly?  How do we respond without compromising our loyalty to Jesus and His teachings on the one hand without folding under the pressure to confirm to the world on the other? How do we handle being ridiculed as bigots, intolerant, idiots, hypocrites, etc.? How do we stand firm and not give up our allegiance to Jesus just so we don’t lose friends or appear like odd balls?

I desire your prayers because the approach I’m taking in that blog post is one that has helped me navigate these minefields on a personal level, and I believe — and hope — it will help countless Christians, especially those of you who are are active on social media who are living in the face of these pressures daily through via your friends who don’t know the Lord yet.
It’s my hope that the article will be powerful, clear, thoughtful, well nuanced, and reveal the Lord’s mind.
So much so that most of you will feel compelled to share it with your friends.
2. My team and I continue to work on my new Mentoring Project which will provide exclusive Master Classes, monthly Q & A, and Connection with like-minded people who are also on the deeper journey.
I believe this project may be one of the most important things I’ll ever do.
3. My publisher wants my next book turned in this August. It seeks to cover the waterfront on how Jesus speaks today and how to recognize His voice.
This book is substantial, and I want it to be great, not just good, in it’s effort to help the Lord’s people.
