Dear LK10 Family,
We need your prayers! In the email below, you will see that there are two trips coming up in February. Tamela and I will be helping to train house church leaders in France (2/5 to 2/18). Jim and Cathy Mellon will be helping to train leaders in India (2/12 to 2/26). We value your prayer support!
LK10 in India
How does ministry or mission occur? One of our LK10 Values is that ministry of all kinds happens naturally as followers of Jesus learn to listen to Him and obey. Roland Allen (The Spontaneous Expansion of the Church)
was one of the great missional thinkers of the early 20th century. We
in LK10 share much of his perspective. Here's a quote from his
biography...
Nothing
could be clearer than that Allen saw “mission” as the “unexhorted and
unorganized activity of individual members of the Church” who were
impelled by the Spirit.
Jim and Cathy Mellon (Central Texas) are a great example of a couple "impelled by the Spirit". As you listen to Jim share about their upcoming trip to India (2/12
to 2/26) in this video (click on the link, not the photo), notice the
very natural way that the Lord has been leading in this ministry for
over 20 years. For the last two years, they have especially been sharing our LK10 values and practices. Jim is asking us to pray for them on this trip, especially for one hundred Indian pastors and wives to begin doing CO2 together. Imagine what a difference this could make!

LK10 in France: "PATATE"
Tamela and I will be helping to equipping house church leaders in Paris, Avignon, Nice and Vichy. Recently, Eliette, one of the ladies who is part of the leadership team with Paul and Laura Harrigan, developed a French equivalent of SASHET. I love the way people in various countries are adapting the LK10 Practices to their own culture and language!
Bonjour à tous,
After praying, reading John's e-mails (Thanks!), playing with letters and synonyms, I came up with
PATATE

LK10 in Russia: Второе занятие
Dennis, our Russian Coordinator, received this email (translated from Russian) from Genya who recently completed the Church 101 Course.
"Thank you, Dennis ! Indeed, the more immersed in the subject of this course, the more inspiring I feel! Thank God!
These practices are similar to fresh water, or rather the light! No, really ... hard to believe that you can learn to hear God through his heart, which I was led to believe that (was) dangerous. And feelings too fickle and unreliable ...
But
after reading the conversation in a coffee shop (JW: I believe this
was a written version of the coffee shop video in Lesson 2), I longed to share with others who are experiencing similar to my state when you want to better know the heart and will of God ...
But
that's not clear to me with six emotions. What is this feeling " to be
loved (sensitivity)"? ? ? Could not find the equivalent ... (JW: She
may be referring to the word Tender in SASHET)
Maybe there is still a synonym for translation?
I attach a file (about the course) that I send to my girlfriend in Minsk a week ago.
Yes
! Even after our conversation, I called my sister, (who is my) close
friend, wanted to " quickly " bring her up to date, so she became my
"(CO2) partner ", but in the end we talked about the course, about
feelings, about the relationship for about an hour! We even managed to
pray over the phone! (she never did pray) And I was really excited .
It turned out that I came at the right time =)
Glory to God! God inspired me! He returned to me the joy and peace and happiness of life! I want to continue and complete immersion (in this material)!
