Niger is plagued by recurring famines and chronic malnutrition, but
there is another kind of hunger gripping the hearts of its people—a
desire to know the true God. In rural villages where literacy rates are
low, indigenous missionaries communicate the gospel through visual aids.
Starting with creation and progressing through the Scriptures to the
coming of the Savior, Jesus Christ, Bible teachers share the message of
God’s plan for salvation in an engaging way for people of all ages. In
this photo, villagers have gathered under a tree for a Sunday school
lesson about Cain and Abel. Christian Aid Mission assists the ministry
in its work among the Fulani and the Tuareg, two people groups that are
largely unreached with the good news.
