Hi Dave,
I confess, sometimes I take the power of prayer for granted. The result is:
-
I don't ask as much
-
I don't expect as much
-
I don't exercise faith as much
-
I don't experience God nearly as much as is possible.
Your prayers, and mine, actually do change our own lives and even the world.

From Miraculous Movements:
"I had the
privilege to be in a difficult region where a baptism was scheduled
involving some three hundred new believers. We needed to do this without
drawing unusual attention to the event. As I watched the faces of the
people being baptized, I couldn’t help but notice an interesting woman
who stood under a tree some distance from the water with a look of happy
anticipation that never changed. She was clearly full of joy to be
there and I thought she must have some role to play.
As the baptisms
continued, with much rejoicing, I thought this woman would do something,
but she never left her place in the shade.
Finally, as the baptism began to wrap up, I found someone and asked, "Who is that woman with the smile standing under the tree?"
"Don't you know?"
this person responded. "Without her none of this would have ever
happened. This movement is not a disciplemaking movement, it is a prayer
movement. And it all started in her home where she, and others, began
praying for this to happen. She is the true mother of this movement."
Your prayers can change regions and nations and you can get involved with one of our prayer teams.

We appreciate your prayers for:
-
DR Congo — We have not been to this country for over a
year because of instability. Please pray for our safety and the work
there.
-
Kenya
— The recent terrorism attack in Nairobi is impacting that nation. Pray
with us that God can turn this for His good and that our friends there
will find His comfort!
Love & Blessings,
Roger & Brooks
