EDIFYING THE BODY

"He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers... for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come... to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." EPHESIANS 4:11-13 Does the Body of Christ still need to be edified and encouraged? Have we all attained to the unity of the faith? Have we all obtained the full-knowledge of the Son of God? Have we all come to spiritual maturity? If the answer to all these questions is no, then these foundational ministries - ALL of them - are still needed today.
