Jesus told us how.
And, it's not that difficult. The main requirement is persistence. Learning to pray like the widow lady in Luke 18.
It all begins with relentlessly praying the prayer Jesus commanded (not optional!) His disciples in Luke 10:2. We call it The 10:2b Prayer. This was Jesus' strategy for the expansion of His Kingdom throughout the whole world. (Of course, there's more to it than this one prayer but this is the starting place.)
Kent Larson (LK10 Coordinator in S. California) has created the prayer card below to help. Cut this out. Put it in your bible or on your mirror or in your car. Make 5 (or 50) copies to give to friends. Teach them about this prayer. After all, this was one of Jesus' commands (not optional!). Therefore, it's part of making disciples. ("Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you." Mt. 28:20.
What do you think would happen if everyone in your church, your group of friends, your city was praying this prayer (preferably with at least one other person) daily?
As my friend Kenny Moore said 15 years ago, "Before there can be a church planting movement, there must be a prayer movement."
