Where to find like-minded people?

This week I received the following email from a lady in Wisconsin...
How can I connect with people who are following this pattern (what she saw on the LK10 site) for the church? My husband and I desire to be connected to a community that is like minded when it comes to the blueprint Christ left for the church. We are willing to travel a good distance, even out of state to connect.
I wrote her back and told her that we don't have any LK10 churches in Wisconsin yet. (We hope someday soon to have dozens or hundreds of churches in that state.) And, I told her that there is a good alternative that doesn't require leaving their own home. I told her about our Leader Teams and pointed her to two videos. In those videos, Leader Team members talk about their actual experiences of deep community on the Google hangouts.
Leader Team meetings using Google hangouts have been one of amazing surprises of the last couple of years. I was skeptical at first. Can significant community really occur in a virtual context? The answer is an unqualified "Yes!" In the videos (see the link below), members of these Leader Teams tell the real stories of what they are experiencing.
And, Leader Teams multiply. A year ago, we had four Teams. Today, there are 13 with five more about to begin. Amazing!
