Last
month, two film-makers -- both independent of one another -- invited me
to be featured in a documentary on "organic church." I declined both
opportunities, explaining to each of them that the timing is not right
to
create such a film.
My
explanation is the main reason why so many people who have written me
since 2011 cannot find anyone interested in having Christ-centered
community where they live. (Except perhaps for a handful of flakes,
fruits, and nuts.)
In next month's UNFILTERED update, I plan
to share with you exactly what I told those two film-makers. If
you're someone who has searched in vain for a Christ-centered
community, I believe you'll be helped by it.
That said, today's update is going to be different from previous updates. (No need to panic or create chaos in the streets.)
Instead
of sharing a new article (which I will do in 2 weeks and in the coming
months), I'm going to give you the audios from one of the most memorable
conferences in which I've ever spoken.
I've often said that the most important book I've ever written is God's Favorite Place on Earth. I still feel that way today. Namely, because it solves 18 common problems
that God's people have and provides a governing vision for living the Christian life.
What you may not know is that there was a conference by the same name that preceded the book.
And I want to share all the audios from that conference with you today gratas.
(The audios were
published individually in 2013, but most of you hadn't seen or listened
to them. So we're putting them all on one page for easy access.)
But that's not all.

We've
also added some newer conference messages to that page. And you'll also
hear the professional version of the song "Bethany" which was written
on the second day of the "God's Favorite Place on Earth" conference by a
musician who was in the
audience. The song still moves me today.
