LK10 "Virus Spreads to Nigeria
October 27, 2014
I’m excited to share with you a post (see below) from Charles Orajiaku in Nigeria in
response to last week’s LK10 Newsletter. (“Looking back on seven years
– Part 2″). I would like to draw your attention to a couple of things
in the story that Charles is telling us.
*Charles and his wife, Lisa, have learned the “rhythms of listening to the Lord and one another” through the four week Church 101 Course.
And, they have used this information to start two house churches.
This is more evidence that the values and practices in Church 101 are
transcultural. God is using them in many countries around the world.
(If you would like more information about Church 101 or would like to
sign up for this free course, go here: http://www.lk10.com/lk10-school/church101/
*Another important part of Charles’ story is the role that Dennis Brown has
played as a coach. The information in Church 101 is powerful but it is
also invaluable to be in relationship with a live person who you can
talk things over with. Someone who will pray for you. That’s the role
that our Regional Coordinators play
in LK10. (Dennis is the LK10 Eastern US Coordinator but, as you can
see, God is using him in other places like Nigeria.) If you are
interested in learning more about being in a coaching relationship with
one of our Coordinators, email me at: John.LK10@gmail.com
*Do
you have friends (whether in a house church or in a traditional church)
who would be interested in learning more about church as “a vibrant
family of Jesus”? Forward this email on to them and let them know they can subscribe to these LK10 Newsletters. Simply go to our home page at LK10.com and click on “ Option 1: Subscribe“.
Now, scroll on down and read the post from Charles Orajiaku. (If you would like to encourage Charles and Lisa, you can email them at exchangedlifeoutreach@gmail.com
Warmly,
John
From Charles Orajiaku…
I
am extremely glad to be part of what the Lord is doing in and through
LK10. It will take eternity to count the blessings we received as we
relate with LK10, but that is not all. When we left the institutional
church at the Lord’s prompt we did not know where to go or what to do
but through the LK10 ministry we found our bearing as we now know what
the Lord intended His church to be.
The
most part is that every day the Lord is using us now to raise community
of believers who practice the rhythms of listening to the Lord and one
another.
I am especially grateful for the love that Dennis and Robin Brown had shared with us in the process. We found the Love of Christ in LK10 and we are sharing same here.
For
us, its been a journey of faith, sometimes difficult but He has always
been faithful. We have sometimes been stigmatized, but encouraged by
fellowship with LK10 community, we have continued. I love the Lord for
all He has done and thankful for all He has used to bring us so far.
Charles
